How it All Works

At Criner, we put you at the center of your project. From the very start, we work to understand your needs, preferences, and tastes, and we’ll guide you through every step of the process. Ultimately, we want to not only meet your goals for your home addition – but exceed them.

Here’s what the process looks like from beginning to end: 

• Phone consultation – First, you’ll have a brief phone call with our designer to discuss your ideas and overall goal for the project. You’ll also talk timeline, and you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the Criner team.
• In-home consultation – Our designer will come to your York County home to evaluate the space and hammer out the details of your project. You’ll sign a design contract, and we’ll get to work on your customized plan.
• Design – We’ll create a 3D computerized model of your home addition so you can see what the proposed final product will look like. Make changes and revisions as you see fit, and when you’re 100-percent happy with the design, you’ll sign a construction agreement and we’ll move forward.
• Selections – You’ll next work with our selections coordinator to pick the perfect appliances, fixtures, paint colors and materials for your addition.
• Construction – We’ll get the appropriate permits from Yorktown officials, and we’ll get started on your home addition right away. As the project progresses, we’ll keep you in the loop with regular updates and insights.
