Presented by the NAHB Research Center, Remodeling Magazine, and the NAHB Remodelers Council. This was the first year for this award, and judging was based on seven criteria: leadership, quality planning, customer focus, quality management, human resources development, information and analysis, and quality achievements and results.

Guild Quality’s Guildmaster Award is presented for outstanding customer service. Criner Remodeling is the only remodeling company in Hampton Roads to receive the Guildmaster Award with Highest Distinction for 9 years in a row.
Criner Remodeling uses Guild Quality, a third-party surveyor, to gain insight and examine customer satisfaction of our services. In the construction industry, the average customer recommendation rate for business is approximately 70%. In order to receive the Guildmaster Award, a member must achieve a recommendation rate of 90% or higher.

The Peninsula Remodelers Council’s Showcase Awards is an annual event in which local remodelers are recognized for excellence in design, construction, and renovation of residential projects.
