We interviewed several contractors before selecting Criner Remodeling for our project. The design phase using the 3D software was awesome and allowed us to visualize all options, adding some to the project, tweaking others, and eliminating the ones that didn’t provide the final look we desired. The process was fun, and the specifications that were developed from these sessions ensured us that our project would be just as we visualized it. As a result of the design process, our project ran smoothly and the final results exceeded our expectations.

Our remodeling project included tearing down a room built on a deck, new construction of a master bedroom closet and mudroom, and opening up the wall between the kitchen and great room while relocating the pantry, refrigerator and washer/dryer. Our specifications were to maximize natural lighting and provide the “wow factor” in updating our home.

The remodeling was coordinated by Eric who was on the job every day, leading the demolition and construction and providing hands-on expertise. His coordination of sub-contractors (electrical, plumbing, roofing, drywall, masonry, painting) was very smooth with no delays in the timeline, and all provided quality work under his supervision. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the construction and Eric’s attention to every detail.

Criner Remodeling has a professional team of designers and craftsmen who take pride in their work. We highly recommend them for any remodeling project where innovation, quality and a stress-free experience are priorities.

I couldn’t be happier with Criner. I knew I wanted to redo our kitchen, but I didn’t have much of a sense of what to do beyond that. From start to finish, the staff was professional, friendly, skillful, and easy to work with. The designer, Ebony, was knowledgable and extremely patient. She let us guide the process as much as we wanted to, but she also got to know our style and made appropriate recommendations to help us along when we were stuck. We felt comfortable enough with the team to leave town for two weeks in the middle of the project (which was great for our sanity and allowed them to work without us being in the way). I really felt like the entire staff and work crew treated our house and our project like it was their own–if they thought something didn’t look quite right or work quite right, they just fixed it–and in some cases we would have had no idea if they hadn’t told us what was wrong. We had very little on our punch list at the end, because they found and fixed most of the problems themselves. Anything that added to the cost was discussed and agreed upon in advance of any work being done. I am delighted with the finished result. I will call Criner without hesitation if/when we decide to do another home improvement job.

Criner Remodeling just finished our Master Bath remodel with outstanding workmanship, design, and customer service. We found everyone we dealt with upbeat, dependable, respectful; caring greatly that we were pleased with both the process and the outcome. Our project manager, Paul, is top notch – has a terrific work ethic, is receptive to ideas, is a skilled problem solver, and works (and cleans) meticulously. Ebony, in design, is a joy to work with, especially navigating all the many decisions that go into a job like this one. They felt like family by the end of the project and the end result is one of top quality workmanship. This was a big investment of time and money for us, but Criner made it well worth it.
